Take Your Place is a dynamic blog that aims to explore the intersection of culture and the lay apostolate to which all baptized Christians have been called. What does it mean to live as lay apostles in the new millennium? Who has Christ called us to be--as a People and as individuals? What is our role in the mission of the Church, and how have we been gifted to fulfill that role? How can we be good stewards of the mission, tradition, and vocation of the Church?
It is my hope and prayer that Take Your Place becomes a rallying point for the lay members of Christ's faithful, a space where we can discuss, debate, and explore the reality of the lay apostolate, as well as share with each other our hopes, successes, disappointments, and strategies around living out the dignity of our priestly, prophetic, and royal office for the salvation and transformation of the world
